LnS Gallery presents “Scapes: Territories of the Seen and Unseen,” which opens at the gallery on Friday, September 4, 2026, with an opening reception from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Caribbean-rooted artists represented in this show include Cuban artists Alexandre Arrechea (whose work is featured above), William Osorio, and the late Ana Mendieta, Rafael Soriano, Carlos Alfonzo, Emilio Sánchez, and Tomás Sánchez. Other artists based in Florida include Jennifer Basile, Tony Vázquez-Figueroa (Venezuela), Jerónimo Villa (Colombia), Karen Rifas, Kerry Phillips, Elisabeth Frieberg, T. Eliott Mansa, and Tim Buwalda. LnS Gallery is located at 2610 Southwest 28th Lane, Miami, Florida.
Description: Bringing together significant historical and contemporary practices, 𝑺𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑬𝑺 considers landscape as a shifting field of perception—one shaped by memory, architecture, migration, material, spirituality, and the body.

Across generations and media, the exhibition traces the ways in which place is observed, constructed, remembered, and internalized.
