New College in the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto invites applications for a three-year Contractually-Limited Term Appointment (CLTA) at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, in the field of Caribbean Studies.

This appointment will begin August 1, 2019, or shortly thereafter, and end on June 30, 2022.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in the humanities or social sciences at the time of application or shortly thereafter, with a research focus on the Caribbean and/or its diaspora. We seek candidates whose teaching interests complement and strengthen our existing strengths.
