The Visual Arts Unit of the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) at The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine, presents a wide variety of exciting and stimulating courses from June-August 2014, open to all who may wish to participate.
Seven intriguing courses are being offered:
An introduction to Value, Lighting and Colour in Acrylic Painting
The Art of Mehendi
Fundamentals of Encaustic Painting – the Art of Painting with Wax
Contemporary Screen Printing Inspired by Pop Art and Andy Warhol
The Art of Comic Book Illustration
The Photo-Story Project
Building Forms: Experimental Ceramic Sculpture.
Registration deadline is Wednesday July 2, 2014, and fees vary by course, with reduced prices available to UWI students.
