The 9th Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival (« Festival de Jazz de Port-au-Prince ») has been going on since Saturday, January 17 and will continue through Saturday, January 24, 2015. [See previous post: Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival 2015.]

Activities have included performances by the Yellowjackets, James Bergeau, Ranee Lee, Sebastian Jordan, Holly Holden, Bella Cat, Troker, Igor Gehenot, Rutshelle Guillaume, Igor Gehenot, Gérald Kebreau, Thurgot Théodat, MMPB, and Co-Streiff, and among others.

The upcoming days will feature Maya Azucena, Boukman Eksperyans, the Laurent de Wilde Power Trio, Manel Camp, Tabou Combo featuring Jowee Omicil, and Etienne Charles.
