Seeking Applicants for the Conservation Leadership in the Caribbean (CLiC) Fellowship Program

The Conservation Leadership in the Caribbean (CLiC) fellowship program is currently seeking participants from the greater Caribbean for the 2015-2016 CLiC Fellowship Class. 

The CLiC fellows program helps jump-start early career conservation professionals through a combination of skills training, networking opportunities and the completion of a conservation initiative that provides real benefits to imperiled species, ecosystems and landscapes in the Wider-Caribbean Region (WCR).

Successful applicants in this competitive fellowship process meet minimum qualification as follows: are citizens of the WCR, have worked in the natural resources conservation field for at least three years and plan to work at least 15 additional years (preferably in the Caribbean region), can commit to devoting at least 10-12 hours per month to a CLiC conservation project, can fully participate in all online and in-person training courses/workshops/modules. The training is organized and led by a Board of Directors and qualified training experts. It provides training to 20 competitively selected applicants over an 18-month period (May 2015-October 2016).

All costs for the program are covered for selected participants.
