Readings from Suzanne Dracius’ L’Autre qui danse and Daniel Maximin’s Aimé Césaire, Frère Volcan

Sponsored by Lire en 1er in partnership with the Conservatory of the Center of Paris, writer Suzanne Dracius will present a reading from her book L’Autre qui danse (Editions Seghers, 1989, Editions du Rocher, 2007) at the Maison des Associations. There will also be readings of Daniel Maximin’s recent book Aimé Césaire, Frère Volcan (Editions du Seuil, 2013). Readers include Yves-Emmanuel Desgrèes du Loû and Clémentine Stépanoff (Compagnie Acte VII l’Universelle). The readings will be accompanied by musicians from the Conservatory, and followed by a cocktail.

The event will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, starting at 7:00pm. The Maison des Associations is located at 5 bis, rue du Louvre, Paris (1er  arrondissement), France.
