Description (MAC): The MAC and L’Artban present the book In Concrete: Urban Graphics 2004–2010. Reverse Graffiti, by Rafael Trelles.
This publication gathers numerous photographs and essays documenting Trelles’ urban interventions in Puerto Rico, Argentina, the Havana Biennial, and the Douro Biennial in Portugal, offering a revealing look at one of the most significant projects in contemporary urban art.
The book was recently selected as one of the 50 best books in the prestigious AIGA 50 Books | 50 Covers international competition, a major recognition of excellence in editorial design. It is also a finalist in the 2026 Latin American Design Awards, the results of which will be announced in October. [. . .]
As part of the meeting, videos of the project will be shown and we will be joined by Tito Otero, cameraman of these interventions and author of one of the texts included in the publication.
