Here is an open call for articles on any topic for the next two issues of PerspectivasAfro: Revista de investigaciones en estudios afrolatinoamericanos y afrocaribeños. Reviews and dossier proposals for future issues are also welcome. The upcoming deadlines are September 15, 2025, and March 15, 2026. 

PerspectivasAfro is a peer-reviewed (double-blind) scientific journal of the research group called Comunidades imaginadas latinoamericanas (CILA) [Latin American Imagined Communities] published by the University of Cartagena, Colombia. It publishes innovative and previously unpublished works in the fields of Afro-Latin American and Afro-Caribbean studies.
