The Julia de Burgos Bookstore and Taller Puertorriqueño will host a bilingual event featuring award-winning poet Lissette Norman, who will read from her book, Plátanos Go with Everything—“a vibrant and cheerful ode to plátanos.” This event takes place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10:00am, at Taller Puertorriqueño (located at 2600 North 5th St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). Craft activities and light food will be provided.
