Kolektif 509 presents “PluriELLEs,” a contemporary art exhibit celebrating International Women’s Day. The exhibit opens on Friday, March 6—at Villa Kalewes, 99 rue Gregoire, Petionville, Haiti—and runs through March 15, 2015. The opening will include a live musical performance by Vodoula and a capoeira performance by women capoeiristas. This event is free and open to the public.
The exhibition explores the creative world of 13 women artists through paintings, sculptures, digital art, and video performance. Artists included are: Martine Brisson, Pascale Faublas, Marie-Louise Fouchard, Rachèle Magloire, Tessa Mars, Haidra McQueen Sterlin, Daphne Meyer, Mafalda Nicolas Mondestin, Valerie Noisette, Barbara Prézeau Stephenson, Valérie St.-Pierre, and Yael Talleyrand.
