ICS Lecture: Memory and Exile in Puerto Rico during the Era of Trujillo

 [This event has been canceled.] As part of its Conferencias Caribeñas 7 lecture series for the 2010-2011 academic year, the Institute of Caribbean Studies, of the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras (UPR-RP), invites the academic community and the general public to the panel “Memoria y exilio en Puerto Rico durante la era de Trujillo (1930-1961)” [Memory and Exile in Puerto Rico during the Trujillo Era] by Dr.  Walter R. Bonilla Carlo (University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla) and Dr. Myrna Herrera Mora (Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo). Dr. Miguel A. Fornerin (Department of Hispanic Studies, UPR-Cayey) will serve as commentator. The activity will be held on Tuesday, October 19, from 1:00 to 3:00pm in Amphitheatre CRA 108 (Carmen Rivera de Alvarado) Building, School of the Social Sciences, Puerto Rico-Río Piedras.
