Lauryn Hill finished her 2014 tour last month, and has decided to continue touring in 2015. Yesterday, Okayplayer.com reported the announcement of her acoustic tour. She will be performing at the Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. on February 13th and 14th, followed by a string of shows in New York City.

The collection of shows will be called the Small Axe: Acoustic Performance Series, no doubt a dedication to Bob Marley. It will be a delight for Hill’s fans who love her MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 album. The live album, her second, is just Hill and a guitar. It was a distinct departure from her hit solo debut album, causing a divide among her fans. And there is still debate about.

This doesn’t appear to be a performance of just the unplugged album, so those who aren’t the biggest fans of it will likely still hear some of their favorites from The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. And if you’ve always wanted to meet the icon, there are VIP meet and greets tickets that allow you to meet and take a photo with Hill after the show.

Ms. Hill, who was once known more for her tardiness, questionable fashion choices, and problems with the law, had a virtually scandal and drama free 2014 tour. Now the focus is starting to get back to her talent, music, and voice.

Tickets went on sale at noon on Saturday, January 10 on thehowardtheatre.com; they range from $100 to $175.
