New Book/Launch: Puerto Rican Legacy in Hollywood

Legado Puertorriqueño en Hollywood: Famosos y Olvidados [Puerto Rican Legacy in Hollywood: Famous and Forgotten] by Miluka Rivera will be presented at Librería Tertulia on December 11, 2010, at 4:30pm. This is an informative book that deals with the origin of Puerto Ricans film pioneers and their contributions, predating the silent era. It also includes biographies, over 175 photos, and exclusive interviews with Puerto Rican stars. Librería Tertulia is located at 305 Recinto Sur, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Miluka Rivera, a former beauty queen, has been a model and an actress in films and theater. As a filmmaker, she directed, wrote and produced the short film, Hollywood Latino Offspring (HLO).
