Up and coming reggae act Protoje “is gearing up to make his mark” at this year’s staging of Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay on July 17-23, 2011 [also see Reggae Sumfest to Honor Beres Hammond.]

The “7 Year” itch singer will take the stage on International Night 2, sharing the same night with the leading female in the rap game Nicki Minaj. Other mega stars who will be performing on said night includes Gyptian, Jah Cure and Wayne Wonder. Protoje recently released his debut album 7 Year Itch to rave reviews, and his career has risen to new heights with the number one single “Rasta Love” with Ky-Mani Marley.
