The 2nd International Congress of Researchers in Afro-Latin American Studies [2° Encuentro Internacional de Investigadores en Estudios Afrolatinoamericanos], organized around the theme “Perspectives, Problems, and Trends” [PERSPECTIVAS, PROBLEMÁTICAS Y TENDENCIAS] will take place from June 4 through 7, 2024, at the University of Cartagena, Cartagena, Colombia.

The forthcoming issue of the journal PerspectivasAfro will be launched at the congress.

Keynote speakers include Kaysha Corinealdi (Emerson College) , Roberto Almanza, (Universidad del Magdalena), and George Palacios (Clemson University).
