Award-winning book: “Grifas (Afrocaribeñas al habla)”

Chosen from a series of books selected by the Cuban Book Institute and the Dulce María Loynaz Cultural Center, Grifas (Afrocaribeñas al habla), was recently awarded the 2022 Literary Criticism Award. It was published in 2021 by Fondo Editorial Casa de las Américas in its Testimonios series.

Grifas (Afrocaribeñas al habla), a comprehensive anthology of works compiled by poet Laura Ruiz Montes and edited by Ingry González. With an introductory essay by Ruiz Montes, the collection includes interviews and writing (with Spanish-language translations from English and French selections) representing broad variety of genres and regions.
