“Unsettings”—a collective exhibition—opens on November 21, 2019, and continues through January 11, 2020, at the Museum of Art and Design of Miramar (Museo de Arte y Diseño de Miramar, MADMi), located at 607 Cuevillas Street, Miramar, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Curated by Kilometro 0.2, the exhibition will present works by Sofía Gallisá Muriente, Ada Bobonis, Mónica Rodríguez, Carolina Caycedo, and Sofía de Grenade. Through media such as video, sculpture, and photography, these artists display their concerns about landscape transformations due to the exploitation of natural resources and the consequences of unequal power relations. This exhibition takes place as a salute to the MECA International Art Fair and is part of its satellite programming.
