The Colombian Studies Group presents “Cuba después del 59” [Cuba after 1959], a colloquium on the occasion of the 60th year of the Cuban Revolution and the 500th anniversary of San Cristóbal de la Habana to reflect on what was and what the nation became after 1959. The presentations included will discuss various dimensions of life in the Cuban capital. This event takes place on November 1, 2019, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, at The Graduate Center-CUNY (Room 5414), located 365 5th Avenue, New York, New York.
The Colombian Studies Group writes, “We are interested in giving voice to a new generation of researchers and academics who study the Island, its interests and perspectives.”
