Yoan Capote’s “Sujeto omitido” [Omitted Subject] has been on view in Italy at Galleria Continua since September 28, 2019. It will remain on view until January 6, 2020. The gallery is located at Via del Castello 11, San Gimignano, Italy.
Yoan Capote graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana, Cuba in 2001. His work has been exhibited extensively in Cuba, Europe and in the USA where he participated in the critically acclaimed group exhibition Adiós Utopia: Dreams and Deceptions in Cuban Art, 1950-2015 which travelled throughout the country including the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC.
