A report by Laura Capon for Cosmopolitan.
Most of us celebrated our 6th birthday with a swimming party down the local leisure centre followed by a nutritional buffet of cold chicken nuggets and party rings. But if you’re third in the line to the throne, a paper bowl of cheese puffs just won’t do.
According to The Sun, Prince William and Kate are spending their summer holiday (which coincides with George’s big day tomorrow) on the Caribbean island of Mustique.
The island is one of William and Kate’s favourite holiday destinations, in fact George celebrated his 5th birthday their last year as well. This is due to the fact that Mustique enforces a no-fly zone over the island, which means the family can enjoy some much-needed privacy, without any unwanted paparazzi.
In fact on previous holidays, Hello! reports the couple don’t expect any royal treatment and instead get stuck in with some of the incredible activities the island has to offer, including snorkelling and scuba diving.
William and Kate’s holiday coincides with their annual break, where the couple take July and August off from their royal duties to spend time with their children, soon to be 6 years old George, 4-year-old Charlotte and 1-year-old Louis.
