New Issue: “Visual Arts Barbados”

The Visual Arts Barbados February 2019 issue is now available. Visual Arts Barbados is a free online monthly magazine, published by artist Corrie Scott, which includes articles on gallery receptions, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, featured artists, photographers, etc.

As Scott explains, the featured exhibitions include:

“Decoherence”—Russell Watson and Chris Welch at the Gallery of Caribbean Art. Extended until February 13.

NCF Queen’s park Gallery “Other Lives” solo exhibition of artist Nick Whittle. On until February 28.

Artist Alliance Barbados “Resolutions” hosted by the Embassy of Argentina. On until February 12. (Curated by Oneka Small.)

Artist Alliance Barbados “All Kinds of Art” group show held in December/January. (Hosted by Norman Centre and curated by Oneka Small.)

Features include:

Ewan Atkinson’s piece “Peregrination” in “Arrivants” group show at the Barbados Museum. On until February 10. (Curated by Veerle Poupeye and Allison Thompson.)

Lilian Sten-Nicholson’s birds and abstracts
