Trinidad and Tobago’s Guardian announced that Gram­my Award win­ner Michael Bolton will head­line at the To­ba­go Jazz Ex­pe­ri­ence 2019, which takes place from April 25 to 28, 2019.

The sur­pris­ing an­nounce­ment was made via the To­ba­go Fes­ti­vals Com­mis­sion’s Face­book page yes­ter­day af­ter­noon. It stat­ed: “With 2019 mere days away, how are you sup­posed to live with­out your past for the next To­ba­go Jazz Ex­pe­ri­ence? Here’s some mo­ti­va­tion to get you ex­cit­ed and ready! We re­veal one of the head­line acts for 2019, Gram­my Award Win­ning Mu­si­cian Michael Bolton.”

Al­though the bud­get for next year’s event has not yet been dis­closed, the com­mis­sion promised to an­nounce sev­er­al oth­er jazz acts in Jan­u­ary at the me­dia launch for the event. The To­ba­go Jazz Ex­pe­ri­ence is sched­uled to take place from April 25 to 28.

This year, more than $4.5 mil­lion was spent on artistes for the two-day event which had a bud­get of $7.3 mil­lion. To­tal rev­enue earned from tick­et sales for the 2018 To­ba­go Jazz Ex­pe­ri­ence was $1,668,600.
