COLOMBIA AND ITS BORDERS WITH THE CARIBBEAN

The central focus of the Seminar on “Colombia and its borders with the Caribbean” are the historical links that connect the country with this area, the articulation of our economy with the countries of the Greater Caribbean, the cultural diversity and the potential of a greater articulation of Colombia with this border area.
Mukien Sang, director of the Institute of Caribbean Studies at the Pontífica Madre Maestra University of the Dominican Republic, will be the international guest. Other guests include: Weilder Guerra, director of the Cultural Area of the Banco de la República, San Andrés headquarters, Socorro Ramírez, professor at the Universidad Nacional, Raúl Román (Univ Nacional/ San Andrés campus), Silvia Mantilla (Uninational de Bogotá) ), Julián Lázaro, American University, among others. Participants from the University of the North include Roberto González Arana, Héctor Galeano, Iván Verbel, Pedro de la Puente, among others.
