Víctor Estrella Burgos, representing the Dominican Republic at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia, has defeated fellow Dominican player Roberto Cid 6-4, 6-3 to win the Gold Medal in Men’s Singles.

Estrella Burgos and Cid, playing as a team, will play for the gold medal in Men’s Doubles this afternoon against the Guatemalan team of Christopher Díaz and Wilfredo González.
