The Jamaica Observer writes about Jamaican singer Tessanne Chin’s return to the music scene.

The Season 5 winner of NBC’s The Voice is featured on the track “Let Me Love You,” produced by musician Paul Kastik. Dancehall artiste Honorebel is also featured on the track.

Let Me Love You was released last Friday by Kastik’s Groove Galore Muzik label and is distributed by Zojak World Wide. “I’ve had Tessanne’s vocals for some time now. I sent it off to Honorebel and he loved it, and the rest is history,” said Kastik.

Kastik played a significant role in the early days of Chin’s career. He served as co-producer on her debut album In Between Words, which was released digitally in 2010. Said Kastik: “Let Me Love You is hardcore. I put a lot of drums in it, because I am a drummer; you cannot miss the guitar, as well. Overall, it is a good vibe.” For the past 20 years, Kastik has been a member of the band Big Mountain, which scored a major Billboard charting hit in 1994 with Baby I Love Your Way.

He has worked with acts including Diana King, Maxi Priest and Ky-Mani Marley, among others.
