After a successful weekend, Puerto Rican actor, Teófilo Torres, returns with his famous monologue, “A mis amigos de la locura” [To my friends/partners in madness] this weekend at Casa de los Contrafuertes, located on San Sebastián Street in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. With this week’s performance, Torres continues the celebration of the monologue’s 40-year anniversary.
El Nuevo Día reports that, after filling up all the shows held from Thursday to Sunday of last week, Torres added two other performances to take place this Saturday, March 31, at 8:00pm, and Sunday, April 1, at 6:00pm. Tickets are on sale at www.prticket.com or by calling (787) 303-0334.
Based on the eponymous book by writer and psychologist Ernesto Ruíz Ortíz, this piece was premiered at the legendary Café-teatro La Tea in Old San Juan and comes full circle by going on stage in this historic area of the capital. [. . .]
