Many Marleys will come together this spring for the Kaya Festival. The event takes places on April 28-19, 2018, at the Nos Event Center in San Bernardino, California. The two-day event is celebrating 40 years since the release of their father’s landmark album, Kaya.
Headliners include all five performing Marley brothers (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian and Ky-Mani), as well as Toots and the Maytals, Marcia Griffiths (of the I Three), Inner Circle, Indubious, and Marley grandchildren Skip Marley, Jo Mersa Marley, Daniel Bambaata Marley, and Shacia Marley.
Kaya Fest is a two-day music and awareness festival, produced by Stephen Marley’s Fruit of Life Productions. Stephen Marley is an eight-time Grammy award winner, singer, songwriter, musician, producer and son of the legendary Bob Marley.
Encouraging positive public awareness as cannabis becomes legal in an increasing number of states across America, the recurring theme of Kaya Fest is “Education Before Recreation,” with focus on the broad spectrum of medicinal marijuana as well as the diversity and benefits of hemp.
