ICS Conference: Caribe Plurilingüe 9 / Multilingual Caribbean 9


Caribe Plurilingüe [Multilingual Caribbean] is a one-day conference that provides an overview of research conducted by graduate students at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras on Caribbean languages. Co-sponsored, as part of the Conferencias Caribeñas 2017-18 series, by the Institute of Caribbean Studies at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, the one-day conference will take place on Friday, January 12, 2018, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, at Sala A Jorge Enjuto–Luis Palés Matos Building, School of Humanities, UPR-RP. Dr. Nicholas Faraclas and Dr. Dannabang Kuwabong (both from the Graduate Program in Linguistics and the English Department) are the moderators.

Because this year, the Institute of Caribbean Studies celebrates its 60-year anniversary, the conference will be dedicated to the Institute.
