There will be a preview screening of Juliette Touin’s Cuba Underground, a documentary—organized as a web-series in ten 6-minute episode—on January 11, 2018, at 7:00pm at Maison de l’Amérique Latine, located at located at 217 Saint Germain Boulevard, Paris, France.
Produced by Temps Noir, the film explores alternative cultures of the island. “As Cuba opens to the world, the Cuba Underground series plunges into alternative environments on the island to meet a new, rebellious generation. On the borders of legality, skaters, graffiti artists, metal heads, and tattoo artists subvert symbols and adapt new trends to remake Havana one of the cultural capitals of the world.”
