Earthquake in Trinidad & Tobago and Grenada

A 4.9 magnitude earthquake was felt in Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada in the early hours of December 20th. Luckily, there were no reports of injuries or damage.

According to the Seismic Research Centre at the University of the West Indies, the quake occurred 13 minutes after midnight. It struck about 51 km northwest of Tobago’s capital, Scarborough; 108 km north northeast of Arima, Trinidad; and 99 km southeast of St George’s, Grenada.
