Edge Zones Art presents the collective exhibition “In Times of Uncertainty,” opening on Friday, December 8, 2017, 9:00-11:00am, at the Edge Zones Gallery (located at 3317 NW 7th Avenue, Circle, Miami, Florida). This show runs through December 22, 2017. The opening event includes an artist’s talk. Free and open to the public.
Description: “In Times of Uncertainty” brings together practitioners from different media—local, national and international—framed by talks from leading creative and curatorial voices. These conversations touch upon issues ranging from identity, in particular, the relationship of artists from the Caribbean, African, or Latin American diaspora with their countries of origin and the place where they have chosen to settle.
Artists include Eddie Arroyo, Yanira Collado, Christian Curiel, Nereida García Feraz, Arlyn Jiménez, Nsenga K, Charo Oquet, Arturo E. Mosquera, Gustavo Román, Victoria Ravelo, Serge Toussaint, Odalis Valdivieso, Marcos Valella, Ángela Valella, Pedro Vizcaíno, and Shoshanna Weinberger.
