Aleida Guevara, Cuban doctor, and daughter of Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara – Cuba sends medical brigades in response to disasters, has established health centres in low-income and remote areas and trains medical practitioners from across the developing world. Dr Guevara, who has participated in international missions in Angola, Ecuador and Nicaragua, will explain the internationalist philosophy that underlies this work, as well as its challenges and achievements.

Dr Guevara’s tour marking 50 years since the death of Che is sponsored by the Cuba Solidarity Campaign.
