For Hurricane Relief: “Unidos Por Puerto Rico” Concert and “Somos Una Voz”

Billboard announced that Marc Anthony and Luis Fonsi will join fellow singers for the “Unidos Por Puerto Rico” Benefit Concert-Telethon. “United for Puerto Rico” will air on October 22 directly from Puerto Rico through more than 20 Spanish Broadcasting System radio stations and on television through Telemundo, Univision and Mega TV in the U.S.

The concert-telethon will also feature artists such as Juan Luis GuerraEdnita NazarioOlga TañónGilberto Santa RosaZion & LennoxCarlos VivesMalumaLa SectaTito el BambinoVico CNicky JamJowell & RandyPirulo y La TribeVíctor ManuelWisinOzuna and Yandel, among others. The artists will also unite for a song and video titled “Isla Bendita,” which will honor the event.

CiberCuba also announced that Marc Anthony and Jennifer López have also created the initiative “Somos Una Voz,” a program of humanitarian aid that relies on the alliance of some of the most relevant figures in the world of the entertainment, sports, and the arts to focus on help for Puerto Rico and Mexico. The Cuban duo Gente de Zona is also on board with the project.
