New Interview Series Highlights Contemporary Puerto Rican Authors


Centro Voices e-Magazine (sponsored by the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College-CUNY) has been publishing a series that focuses on contemporary Puerto Rican authors. Some of these include playwright Michael Mejias (Ghetto Babylon), and poets Luivette Resto (Unfinished Portrait and Ascension, Peggy Robles-Alvarado (Homenaje a Las Guerreras / Homage To The Warrior Women).

Centro Voices is an online magazine covering the current affairs, history, arts and culture of Puerto Ricans in the United States. It is directed to and written by members of our nationwide communities, functioning as the vehicle connecting the multiple manifestations of Puerto Rican identity and culture.
