2017 World Rowing Cup III: Cuba’s Ángel Fournier


For the second time this season, Cuban rower Ángel Fournier Rodríguez secured a subtitle in the World Cup 2017, which took place this weekend in Lucerne, Switzerland. Fournier crossed the finish line in second place in the the Men’s Single Sculls at 2,000 meters in 6:52.940 minutes, after New Zealand’s Robert Manson, who made it in 6:49.080 minutes. Belarusian Stanislau Shcharbachenia finished third in 6:55 minutes.
