This is a Call for Submissions for unpublished studies for a special issue of Hispanic Journal devoted to Latin American poetry (including the Caribbean). Each contribution should study the work of relevant, albeit under-analyzed, poets, poetic trends or poetic movements. The editors intend to help bring those to the fore and start new, exciting conversations. The deadline for submissions is December 1, 2017.
We invite proposal submissions of no more than 500 words that explain the intended topic as well as the critical approach. The proposal should include a working bibliography. Submissions may be written in Spanish or English.
Proposals will be collected until December 1st, 2017, and those accepted will have until May 1st, 2018 to submit the final version.
The format of the article must follow the general guidelines of Hispanic Journal: http://www.chss.iup.edu/spanish/hj/
Proposals may be sent to: Vicente Gomis-Izquierdo, editor (firstname.lastname@example.org) or
Rogelio Guedea, guest editor (email@example.com)
