In St. Thomas, the 2017 Virgin Islands Carnival is coming to an end this weekend, running from April 1 to April 29, 2017. The island has been celebrating at the Carnival Village—Juan’s Musical Haven—under the theme “A Centennial Commemoration for our 65th Carnival Celebration.”
This morning saw the colorful Children’s Parade. Tomorrow, Saturday, April 29, will be the grand, closing parade, led by Grand Marshall, the Inferno’s Carnival Troupe. Starting at 10:00am, the parade will go from Western Cemetery to the Lionel Roberts Stadium, with fireworks in the evening (9:00pm) at the Charlotte Amalie Harbor and the Last Lap party (10:00pm-3:00am) at the Forth Christian Parking Lot.
