This is a reminder that the collective exhibition “Overseas: Cuba and the Bahamas. Contemporary Art from the Caribbean” opens at HALLE 14 on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Featuring photographs, paintings, installations and video works from 38 artists, the show offers a unique insight in the art scene of the two island states. The exhibition is co-curated by Holly Bynoe, curator of the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, and art critic Antonio Eligio Fernández (Tonel). [See previous post Overseas: Cuba and the Bahamas.] HALLE 14 is located at the Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei Center for Contemporary Arts, Spinnereistraße 7, in Leipzig, Germany.
