Film screening of the 2015 documentary Nana Dijo: Irresolute Radiography of Black Consciousness, “a cartography of the Black experience through a collection of narratives in first person,” followed by Q&A with co-director Bocafloja

February 18, 2017, 7 pm

Book release of and poetry reading from Dreaming Rhythms, Despertando Silencios by Nuyorican poet Carmen Bardeguez-Brown, with guest poets Jesús ‘Papoleto’ Meléndez, Modesto ‘Flako’ Jiménez, Sandra Maria Esteves, and Nancy Mercado
