Martinican writer Daniel Boukman’s Frantz Fanon. Traces d’une vie exemplaire [Frantz Fanon, traces of an exemplary life] was published by Éditions de L’Harmattan in November 2016. It will be presented at the Schoelcher Library [Bibliothèque universitaire de Schoelcher] on Monday, January 16, 2017, at 5:00pm, in conversation with the author.
On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the death of Frantz Fanon, on December 6, 2016, at the request of the Association of Martiniquais Writers in Creole Language (Krey Matjè Kréyol Matinik), supported by the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique, there was a solemn tribute paid to this worthy son of Martinique. Many different works concerning the life and work of Frantz Fanon have been published throughout the world.
Frantz Fanon, traces d’une vie exemplaire is not just a work providing a supplemental account to those other studies, but rather aims to retrace the path of a man whose actions were in direct coherence with his words, his writings, seeds entrusted to the furrows of the wind. [. . .]
