A report by Celia Fernández for Latina.

Dascha Polanco and Selenis Leyva are joining forces yet again.

The ladies of Orange is the New Black are coming together for an off-Broadway play called “Tell Hector I Miss Him” and is set in San Juan, Puerto Rico, according to Vivala. The play is telling “the life of 12 people in slum in Old San Juan.”

“You’re in Puerto Rico. Old San Juan. You’re a tourist, you walk down the stairs of this beautiful old fort built by the Spaniards. When you reach the bottom, you realize you’re in a hole. Welcome to the basement that lies under the tourism and behind the fort walls. You spend some days there, you don’t want to leave. Oh no, you’re addicted. “Tell Hector I Miss Him” unmasks a community built on the law of respect that keeps getting washed away but refuses to drown,” Paola Lázaro, the playwright, said.

Polanco is playing Malena and Leyva is playing Samira and the two are going to be playing neighbors. The ladies are joining their fellow cast mates on January 11 for a preview and then opening night on January 23.

We can’t wait to see the ladies get down in NYC until February 12.
