In France, Festival Kanoas—dedicated to promoting Caribbean theater—will hold its second edition on November 11, 12 and 13, 2016, under the direction of Jean-Michel Martial. The ITM (Institut du Tout-Monde) is a co-sponsor for this important event, which highlights the creativity of the contemporary Caribbean theater scene.
The festival will include works from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, and Trinidad.
Events on November 11 and 12 will take place at Gare au théâtre in Vitry-sur-Seine; November 13 events will take place at the Halle Pajol Theatre in Paris.
