“Time to Show” is the latest release from singer Jahman, produced by Jon FX Music. Kevin Jackson (from the Jamaica Observer’s “Catch di Riddim”) reports:
A native of St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, Jahman (real name Jabari Carrington) said the song was inspired by a special trip.
“I was listening to some tracks and the producer said ‘what would you do with this?’ And I kid you not, the first thing that came off my tongue was the intro. But the topic and words were created around the fact that my dad and some of my siblings were from Trinidad, where I was soon about to visit…so I said what better homecoming gift than to just put something together musically,” he said.
Jahman’s love for reggae came at an early age. His father played the music of Peter Tosh, Burning Spear and Steel Pulse in their home. [. . .]
