Dr. Jorge Duany (Cuban Research Institute at Florida International University) reminds us that the deadline for submitting articles for the 11th Conference on Cuban and Cuban-American Studies is October 31, 2016. Organized around the theme “Beyond Perpetual Antagonism: Reimagining U.S.-Cuba Relations,” the conference takes place in February 23–25, 2017, at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus in Miami, Florida.

The Cuban Research Institute invites interdisciplinary approaches to the links between Cuba and the United States, both historically and in current times.
