Tonight, at 7:00pm, is the opening of Puerto Rican artist Carola Cintrón Moscoso’s solo exhibition “Habitáculo” at Galería Km 0.2. The gallery is located at 626 Cerra Street in Santurce (San Juan, Puerto Rico).
The exhibition consists of a multimedia installation, which—through the use of objects and sound—proposes a mapping of movement and forms that fluctuate between the possibility and impossibility of being “inhabited.” The installation constantly blurs the idea of emptiness as a structure to be experienced by the body. Elements such as the fragility, communication, and emptiness are recurring themes in the work of this new media artist.
