Tomorrow, September 29, at 7:00pm, Casa América of Madrid presents the duo Atelier Morales (Teresa Ayuso and Juan Luis Morales) as part of the cycle “Miradas cruzadas: arquitectura iberoamericana” [Viewpoints: Latin American Architecture.” Speaking with the Cuban artists and architects will be Spanish curator Rafael Doctor. The event takes place at Casa América (Plaza de la Cibeles, s/n | 28014) in Madrid, Spain.
Diario de Cuba reports that the cycle “seeks to promote knowledge of Latin American architects in Spain and thus promote the exchange of experiences and joint viewpoints between architectural firms on both sides of the Atlantic,” according to the press release.
Juan Luis Morales is a professor at the La Villettte National School of Architecture in Paris and a member of the Order of Architects of France. He graduated in architecture at the Superior National School of Architecture of Havana and La Villette in Paris.
Teresa Ayuso graduated in architecture at the National School of Architecture of the University of Havana, is a member of ‘La Maison des Artistes’ of France, and has a master’s degree in industrial design from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. They live in Paris.
