In collaboration with the University of St. Martin and Morehouse College, the ICCL 2016 Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that this year’s theme is “Ode to Saint Martin/Sint Maarten: Addressing the Longing to Belong in a Multicultural Milieu.” To this end, we invite paper and panel proposals related to this year’s theme as well as to Caribbean literature and culture more generally. Presentations may be given in English, Spanish, French, Dutch, or Papiamento.
Instructions for submissions: 250-word abstracts should be sent to Dr. Melvin Rahming (melvin.rahming@morehouse.edu), Rami Blair (rami.blair@morehouse.edu), and Dr. Leah Creque (leah.creque@morehouse.edu) no later than July 1.
