On the occasion of the unveiling of a statue of AC/DC’s Bon Scott, London’s Guardian looks back at some “abominations of the artform.” You can access their gallery of bad musicians’ sculptures through the link below.
Among the statues featured is that of Bob Marley (above), with the following caption:
Who knew it was Bob Marley rather than Keith Richards who was the model for Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean? As seen outside the Bob Marley Museum, Kingston, Jamaica.
I tend to disagree with their assessment, as I find this sweetly charming, but there it is.
