Bahamians Shaunae Miller and Jeffery Gibson won races at the AG Insurance Memorial van Damme Diamond League meet in Brussels, Belgium, both finishing at the top of their sports.
Miller took the win in the women’s 400m title with 50.4, just head of Francena McCorory, of the USA, second with 50.59, and Stephanie Ann McPherson of Jamaica came third with 51.00.
After setting two national records at the World Championships, Gibson won the men’s 400m hurdles ahead of Bershawn Jackson of the USA with 48.76 and Kariem Hussein, of Switzerland with 48.87.
