Do take a look at Rasanblaj Caribéen, a new, multilingual issue of E-misférica, guest-edited by scholar/performer Gina Athena Ulysse.  Rasanblaj = gathering, and the issue offers fascinating insights into contemporary “gatherings” in Caribbean culture and the arts.

The double issue is full of gems from scholars and practitioners like Charles Campbell, Edwidge Danticat, Yanique Hume, M. Jacqui Alexander, Sally Price, Alessandra Benedicty, and Carole Boyce Davies, to name just a few.

It’s quite wonderful, so do take a look.
